Is Accomodation available?
Accommodation has been allocated for each guest. Once you RSVP, the venue will contact you to finalise your reservation. In the meantime, please consider whether you’ll need accommodation for both the night before and after the wedding or just the night after.
For those staying only on Saturday night, we kindly ask that you arrange for an early check-in, as our ceremony will begin promptly at 2 PM
When should we RSVP?
If you require accommodation for our wedding, please ensure you RSVP by Friday, May 16th. RSVPs received after this date may need to arrange their own accommodation.
What transportation is available?
Although all accommodations are just 2–5 minutes from the venue, we have arranged transportation for our guests. A shuttle will pick you up from your accommodation and bring you to the wedding, as well as take you back at the end of the reception.
What should I Wear?
The attire for our wedding is Black Tie.
We kindly request that our guests join us in formal evening attire to celebrate this special occasion. For men, this means a tuxedo or a dark suit with a bow tie or formal necktie. For women, a floor-length gown or an elegant cocktail dress is appropriate. While "black tie" suggests formality, feel free to embrace rich colors, luxurious fabrics, and statement accessories—no need to stick to black!
Are Children Allowed?
We love your little ones, but to allow all our guests to fully relax and enjoy the evening, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 2pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat. For those using our transportation service from your hotel, we will confirm all details and times with you prior to the day.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our afternoon ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors in the garden, while the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the garden on paved pathways, but will need to walk on grass thoughout the day. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
What is the weather like in the area?
Mona Farm is set in the charming town of Braidwood, NSW. While temperatures reached 18°C on the same date in August 2024, the evenings can still be quite cool. For your comfort, we recommend bringing a coat. We’ll have heaters and outdoor fires to keep you warm before we move indoors for the reception and dance the night away!
